  Galactic Brick.com is back!

Hello! I just thought I would let everyone here at Lugnet.Star Wars that (URL) is back! After a long time of the site being dead, it is now being revived by a team of LEGO Enthusiasts. If anyone has any comments or ideas please let me know! Hope you (...) (21 years ago, 23-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Dark Helmet

(...) Thanks! Philo keeps coming out with artful versions of my walkers, so I thought I'd try that too. Its no Jama, but it can walk. (...) I will work on that. Kevin (21 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Dark Helmet

(...) I guess I'd better get the Space Balls DVD and capture some audio. "May the schwartz be with you." I just didn't have time to make a video this morning. I'll work on that tonight. Maybe I can sneek a schwarts on the model too :^) (...) Kevin (21 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Dark Helmet

(...) sounds like a good space seed part... (...) hee hee! I can see it now to darth vader's voice singing: "I'm walin', yes indeed, I'm walkin'..." in a video like Tobbe suggested Jeff (21 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Dark Helmet

<<snip>> (...) (URL) just made a typo. (...) That would be an understatement, it's ROFL funny! It's the best looking microwalker since this craze begun, IMHO. How about a video? (21 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.starwars)

  Dark Helmet

Ever since we bought a bunch of Darth Vaders at BrickFest, I've wanted to make a walking Darth Vader helmet. How many uses are there really for a Darth Vader helmet. I modified the design of my latest micromotor based walker to make it fit more (...) (21 years ago, 22-Oct-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.starwars) !

  ISD Question

I've got my ISD sitting in my spare room boxed waiting for a) a window in my life big enough for me to build it, and b) somewhere to put it when its built. I'm sure I read somewhere Lego revised the design of it to increase stability. Is this true ? (...) (21 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: UCS Snowspeeder on back of US S@H Holiday catalog!

(...) A note since I finished putting this together a few days ago. All the patterns in the set are stickers. There are no printed parts with the exception of a few 1x2 tiles with the SW instrument panel. -Orion (21 years ago, 21-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)

UCS Snowspeeder on back of US S@H Holiday catalog!

Hey all, Those of you jonesin' for more white, this set will be your dream come true! A bonanza of Classic wing plates in white (at least 7 pairs) At least twelve 2x4 extreme low-slopes in white and at least four in orange! The Classic Space canopy (...)   "These are not the droids you are looking for...."

Updated a LDRAW/MLCAD model I made of the 7110 Landspeeder. Didn't like the colors of the actual model. (URL) (21 years ago, 20-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-AT leg joints

(...) What parts are used for models like 8012 Super Battle Droid? Are these joints able to hold pressure? Matt (21 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Count Dooku Star Wars UCS Miniland Scale Figure and Speeder MOCs

(...) Great work, sir! The articulation of the figure looks amazing on the speeder. I'm always surprised by how well the faces work on your minilands..you wouldn't think the parts would add up to the result, but they always do, and do well. Good (...)   Count Dooku Star Wars UCS Miniland Scale Figure and Speeder MOCs

Here's a link to a separate page I made for his pictures: (URL) My good friend, Count Dooku> This is the first vehicle MOC I've done for accuracy (the transforming x-wing was more just to see if I could get it to turn into a robot). I had such a (...) (21 years ago, 17-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

  BioniWars Death SToar Gunner

I can understand the logic behind the visor design, and maybe even the reason for having just the front of the torso armored...but what the heck was the purpose of the large protrusion on the back of these guys' helmets? The best idea I can come up (...) (21 years ago, 17-Oct-03, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space, FTX)

  BioniWars OOPS-9, Command BatToa Droid

The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that the only thing that truly qualifies a Battle Droid to be the leader is the yellow detailing. Too bad they don't carry cash, or you could make a nice chunk of change by setting up a store that (...)   Re: AT-AT leg joints

(...) The AT-TE has 6, if I recall, in the same color scheme as the AT-AT's; there is one in white that is the new "Canadian Arm" on the Space Shuttle set. But I'm not aware of any smaller sets having them. Bricklink can get you the two mated pieces (...) (21 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-AT leg joints

(...) Other than the AT-AT set what other sets contain these peices? Matt (21 years ago, 15-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  On The Set With George

Check out our latest diorama MOC from our (URL) homepage>. (URL) The shooting of the final scenes at Varykino are about to wrap-up as George talks to Anthony about some minor adjustments.   Re: AT-AT leg joints

(...) Here's a suggestion from those of use who've used these parts: Double up on the AT-AT hinges. They as strong on their own, but they are much stronger when two are used. Just a thought, -Dave (21 years ago, 13-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: AT-AT leg joints

(...) Thanks for the help. I have a moc that is using click hinges and they just can't handle the weight. Thanks Again, Matt (21 years ago, 12-Oct-03, to lugnet.starwars)
