(...) IIRC, the enterprise-D is supposed to be just under a kilometer long, so it would be just under 2/3rds the length of an imperial-class star destroyer(1.6 Km or a mile) (22 years ago, 16-Oct-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)
