(...) Dang...man, you're going to run out of Star Wars vehicles to poderize! Next up... Bespin's Pod City (maybe you could make it as a big playset for pods). (22 years ago, 21-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

(...) someday. Yours looks great. One detail - I thought there was some space between the 'mandibles' and the column that connects the cockpit to the hull. Of course, it's also possible that my memory is failing me... Jeff J (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

  Re: Excellent rendering...

I thought I'd throw my contribution into the frey: (URL) (Warning to modem users, 259K) Took about 45 minutes to render on my machine. One thing though, the colors seem to be "washed out". Is there anyway to fix this? -Orion (22 years ago, 20-Sep-02, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: UCS TIE Crawler

Star Wars X-Wing Alliance ship the Otana

Thanks to bricklink I was finally able to build my favorite Star Wars shio the Otana from the X-wing Alliance game. I'm surprised I am the first one to post this creation. I used set 7106 for the escape pods on the side which can be taken out. I (...) (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.space)

Re: Return of 7142 and 7152

(...) This is great news! I only bought one X-wing the first time around, and I've regretted it ever since. I also noticed the B-wing (7180!) and Slave I (7144) are listed as 'Available Now.' They weren't there a few days ago. Jeff J (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Another 1592 variant--Star Wars

(...) I can't really take credit for the Jawa, I've seen several people use a brown hood, black head, brown torso, and stubby-legs to put a Jawa together. The Dewback was the most fun part to build. I've already torn the rest down, but I think I'll (...) (22 years ago, 18-Sep-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars)

(...) No problem. I figure the better you do at selling blasters, the more likely you'll be to move on to other designs, like that scimitar prototype. :) Bruce (22 years ago, 17-Sep-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Another 1592 variant--Star Wars

(...) Thanks for the kind words. I did think about using tan baseplates. I've got several of the 16x32 baseplates in tan plus one of the 32x32 with the dirt road.
