I am curious what the general opinion is about the significant price increase of this set. It seems to me that the increase is rather high compared to the part count of the set. (...) Actually, it took me longer to actually build the set IRL than it did to model in LDraw format. There's a lot of repeatativeness and mirrored parts, LDrawing it went pretty quick (22 years ago, 20-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars)

SSS...SSSCCC...CCCHH...W...WWWEEE EEE...EEETTT...TTT!!!...!!! I can not wait! It's a shame I can only count 12 chrome peices though (please say there are more i can't see)...Also IMHO, lego took the easy way out when making that cockpit, and they (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jun-02, to lugnet.starwars)

Niii...iiiccc...ccce...ee!!!!!!!! those new chromium (sp?) peices will sure add some flavor to future creations, espicially the cones, for me at least. On the downside though, I think Lego took the easy way out when designing the canopy IMHO. Does (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jun-02, to lugnet.starwars)
