My buddy Brian had the interesting idea of making a black X-wing. We just used the x-wing instructions and changed colors as needed. I think the only piece substitution was the 1x3 slopes on the side since I didn't have black angle-bricks. Dark Side (...) (...) SPUD is a little better term, but the "Useless" part is quite a value judgment. As I always whip out, the LEGO theme which probably provides the most exposure outside our tiny circle of friends is absolutely dependent on pieces some folks (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.starwars)
