  Re: New sports

(...) Baseball has been very popular in Japan for a few decades now and is also pretty popular in many South and Central American countries. Just my two cents. -Jonathan (23 years ago, 5-Sep-01, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: New sports

I think that the green base plates will be the starting point for either an official or fan created version of Quidditch. There will need to be lots of those Naboo Swamp clear posts or clear axles to hold the kids and their brooms up, but it would (...) (23 years ago, 4-Sep-01, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.harrypotter)

  HELP: query about set 3413

Greetings footie-fans, Can anybody here confirm whether set 3413 actually has one Lego football inside? Cheers, Darth Joules (23 years ago, 3-Aug-01, to lugnet.sports)

  My FOTM!

Well, i went to Shopko today, and i found my Find-of-the-month, #3411, for $6 USD (some odd change too, but who cares?) So tomorrow, i'm up again, to see how many are left, because i may be able to get more! Josh (23 years ago, 2-Aug-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.sports)

  Re: New sports

(...) I tend to doubt that Lego will make another sport theme in the near future. Soccer was such a perfect choice for a sport theme since it is the most universally played sport; every nation can relate to it and enjoy it. What other sport could (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: New sports

(...) I don't know what Lego is planning on doing, but the soccor ground pieces (where you mount the players) has a hole in the middle that's just begging to have a technic shaft shoved up through it with a player pivoting on the top a-la table (...) (24 years ago, 15-May-01, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: Women's Team -- set 3416

(...) As you can see from the XFUT -> .market.shopping, you know what I'm going to ask you for next, Jeff. Just how much *is* it jacked up? And at which KB did you find it? Piqued, Lindsay (24 years ago, 13-May-01, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Women's Team -- set 3416

(...) I found it at KB Toys on Thursday, although they jacked the price a bit. :\ Oh, and it is six figs, not five. :) Also, I sent the inventory to Peeron: (URL) (24 years ago, 13-May-01, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: Women's Team -- set 3416

(...) Forgive my ignorance, but is this set a Shop@Home exclusive type set or will it be available in the Wal*Mart/Target/Toys R Us type retail stores? Any clue as to a date it'll be available if it's being sent to the retail stores? ~Nathan (24 years ago, 13-May-01, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.build.minifigs)
