  Re: Collectible edition of 3401?

(...) Zany Brainy's first shipments of the sets were European ones, so we got Zidane minifigs. I was hoping to get another one or two Zidane minifigs (the head is a nice head, and I'm not sure that I've seen it before, and of course the duplicate (...) (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.sports)

(...) *ahem* WOOO...OOOHOOO...OOO!!!...!!! Sorry, I've been waiting for these for a loooong time. :) Jeff (24 years ago, 30-Mar-01, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Minifig Player numbers

Hi, I noticed that the accessory box, the big football field and the Shoot and Score have minifigs of the same teams (The green-and-white team and the red-and-blue-team) but with different numbers on their backs. 1) In 3403 (Grandstand) you have a (...) (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.sports)

  Women's Team -- set 3416

Five female footballers have just been added to Brickset. (URL) great addition to the Football range, but perhaps more significantly: 2 new *blonde* hairstyles!! (Ponytail and bob.) And the crowd goes wild!!! --DaveL (24 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Can someone tell me this?

Can you get the #10 Adidas Zidane character in "Shoot N' Score"? I'm not wanting it as a collector item, but to make my other figs look bad >8-] I live in Oklahoma, if that'll help. Whoever can answer this, thanks in advance. Robbie @nder$on (24 years ago, 11-Mar-01, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: Collectible edition of 3401?

(...) I just want to (hopefully) clarify something. I did read somewhere that the Canadain sets have the Zidane figure in them. There is a phot of the real Zidane on the packages here, but no picture of the Zidane mini-figure. So, does this mean no (...) (24 years ago, 23-Feb-01, to lugnet.sports)

Where do you get these soccer sets? I haven't seen them at all, anywhere. Thanks John (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jan-01, to lugnet.sports)

  Online Ideas Page...

I've updated my page, and will be updating it multiple times today, I've decided to stick with the JPEG's for now, the GIF's turned out to be larger & slower loading. If a model has more then 10 steps it will get more then one page, with 10 steps (...)   Re: What is this crap?

(...) Darn, I hate being misunderstood. When I said the "new" sets I meant the 3 $5 ones for 2001. They look pretty crappy, especially compared to the really good ones TLC released for 2000. I have the $6 one and am planning on getting the big one (...) (24 years ago, 17-Dec-00, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: What is this crap?

(...) If I could just add to this thread I have to say that they have redeeming value to kids for playability of 3409 (as long as you aren't alone) and good selections of parts for some of my MOC stuff, like Castle and Space. If you can get them at (...) (24 years ago, 17-Dec-00, to lugnet.sports)

In >I agree with you totally Frank, but maybe Brian was referring to (...) Yes, that's exactly what I was talking about. The 2000 sets are good. I bought the $6 one and my sister (a minor lego and major soccer fan) asked for the stadium for (...) (24 years ago, 17-Dec-00, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: What is this crap?

(...) I agree with you totally Frank, but maybe Brian was referring to <set:3412>, <set:3413>, and <set:3414> which seem very weak compared to the initial releases. --DaveL (24 years ago, 17-Dec-00, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: What is this crap?

(...) Obviously your opinion, but I see lots of value in them: - A fun game (I haven't really played the game, but I've watched people have fun, and I've heard people talk about how much fun they had with it). - Some decent parts (sure, they are (...) (24 years ago, 16-Dec-00, to lugnet.sports)

  What is this crap?

I'm sorry, but the new soccer sets are junk. They have, in my mind, no real redeeming value. (24 years ago, 16-Dec-00, to lugnet.sports)

  Re: World Cup Jerseys

Of course we need Dutch jerseys. We don't have enough orange in Lego Town!! By the way, does anybody know of the existence of orange torsos (or flags), other than in the World Cup 98 Shell series? I would like to recreate a section of the Oranje (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.sports)
