Re: New mecha & starfighter @ Moonbase Io (3/12/01)

(...) Todd, The Perseus is cool. It doesn't even look throwbot joint based. this mech looks more "buffed out" than some of your others. The Shocktrooper still rules though!! (one of my favorite mechs) It's interesting to see the evolution of your (...) (24 years ago, 13-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

New mecha & starfighter @ Moonbase Io (3/12/01)

Check these out! First, the new "Perseus" mecha in the U.E.S.F. section. Finally an anthropoid mecha design that does the U.E.S.F. proud! Next is the experimental "Condor" starfighter in the Martian Colonies section with an interesting rectangular (...) (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) This is an awesome design. Where did you get the ball for the ball-and-socket joint at the shoulder? It looks like it's mounted on an axle rather than the standard Throwbots part. I've got small, um, ahem, I've got pieces like that with (...) (24 years ago, 12-Mar-01, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks guys. Answer to Mark's question- Yes those are 3 brick high dark gray wall sections in the engine design and much like my Sauron and Skyfox fighters, the Condor is also influenced by the design of the Cylon raider. In fact, I'm considering adding an "Evolving Concepts" section to my site that chronicles the evolution of my mecha and droid host units over the past year and a half, which (...) Check out the "Black Orchid" in the Pyralon section- a starfighter so evil-looking, it's hard to believe it's one of the good guys. LMKWYT, Todd Amacher SILICON PSYCHE (URL) (23 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.org.us.tennlug)
