  PP 1444 X, my P-38 contest entry

Greetings .spacers, I would like to present my entry to the P-38 Contest. Please find a comfortable chair. Whateverly Labs has produced the PP 1444 X under contract to Improbable Industries. (...) SNIP (...) (...) Hey, cool! I actually experimented with the P38 shape last year, but it was too small to fit all the details I wanted. Hmmm...looks like I'll have to try again ;-) Great idea for a contest--we ought to do more of this! Andrew (21 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Haha! Now that's just frikkin cool. I'm enjoying American HotRod much more right now tho. Maybe that's just because American Chopper is mostly reruns right now. Or maybe it's because I'm a total car nut. :\ --(URL) SteveR> (20 years ago, 21-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) If that doesn't win, there's no justice in this world. I think the standard hoverbike nose would benefit greatly by being flat instead of angled, but the rest of the design more than makes up for it. (20 years ago, 22-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Hi Douglas, I went on BrickShelf to check it, it's a very nice P38 you designed. It is almost studless, SNOTed (MORVEd :-))everywhere. I especially like the use of the blue 1x3x12 slope on the sides.
