I think the stumbing stone is features like the POV command difference. See earlier discussions. In POV, you can first make a solid object and then drill a hole in it. Making a conversion tool capable of handling that takes... well, at least someone (...) (23 years ago, 25-Feb-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets)
