Note to all: the engines on the back end of the MT192 look very similar to
the MT183. I just realized that no-one could tell since I forgot to take a
snap. The MT183 is a military/blockage runner style ship, and the side pods
come off only to allow access to the inside; they are not suppose to be
removable cargo pods.
The MT 192 is a true, modular version of the MK183, in which the escape pod
and docking ring have been moved forward, and the pods behind are meant to
be converted into prefab homes and buildings in a small colony. So, you
have a living quarters pod (I took two interior shots), a cargo pod which
becomes a small vehicle storage and a bunker for hurricanes and other
natural disasters, and an engineering pod which has a self contained mini
fusion power reactor, and acts as the secondary power system when in flight,
plus the engineering pod has additional life support. The back end is the
engine module, and it can be attached directly to the front control module.
Each segment is meant to be brought to the surface one at a time by the
control module and engine module. What you don't see here are landing gear
(I'm working on it). I'm also working on additional joint modules to add
more off the side of the ship, like a complete hydroponics pod, and a
self-contained mining pod.
