Re: Mark's Lego Creation Update! 1/5/01

(...) I'm not sure what to say about your models. I've been browsing lugnet since october or november of 2000 and noticed that you've recieved most all the praise that a mortal man can recieve. Anything more would place you on an equal footing with (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jan-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

(...) I don't know if I'm on equal footing with Karim yet. ;^) (...) Thanks! (...) Hmm... I hadn't realized that was becoming "trademark" but I suppose I just can't resist putting little bits of techno-junk in at least one place. :^) (...) :^) Well, (...) (...) I have to agree, Mark! I think that there should be more non-miltary models getting posted. (...) Actually, there's more than just an asthetic or flight control reason for B5's Cobra bays to act like they do. At the time B5 is built, the Earth Alliance only has centrifugal artificial gravity- ie, they generate gravity by spinning sections. (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

Launch Mechanisms (was Re: Mark's Lego Creation Update! 1/5/01)

(...) I actually prefer the fighter launch mechanisms of the colonial forces in Battlestar Gallactica... they get shot out of tubes like a cannon ball... of course, doing that in Lego would be a bit difficult... <G> I think if I ever build a carrier (...)   Re: Mark's Lego Creation Update! 1/5/01

(...) Actually, I was just thinking about that a couple days ago. The two fighters from the Deep Freeze Defender are very compact. Why not mount a squadron of them on the underside of a large carrier, and modify the rear of each one so the pilots (...) (24 years ago, 8-Jan-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)
