Congratulations to the winners -- it is a truly wonderful thing to be honored
by your peers, and I think all the entries showed a great amount of enthusiasm
and talent.

If you enjoyed this building contest, please take a moment to say a few words,
share some thoughts, say thanks to the people who shared their great models.

Great stuff.  I look at the winners and wish I'd had more [insert classic space
part here] as a kid.  Why is it that classic space seems so much better than
the stuff now (this is coming from a AFOL with the UCS X-Wing and
TIE Interceptor on his desk at work).  Something about grey & blue bricks with
yellow and green trans just make me wanna take a long weekend and build.

The votes have been cast, tallied, and audited -- it's time to announce the winning entries! 30 people entered a total of 67 entries. There were a total of 205 vote- points applied to the entries and tallied up. Thanks to everyone who participated, (...)
