The 487 Space Cruiser was the first Lego system minifig model I owned and loved as a kid. All the entries brought back memories of a childhood where I could only imagine owning a zillion blue bricks, grey plates, transparent yellow parts, and 2x2 white cylinders - to make infinite varieties of spacehips and rockets. Come to think of it, I'm still imagining it - Lego, can we have a 2x2 white cylinder bulk pack and a light grey plate pack? (...) This is an interesting point--although since I may be a bit younger than you, perhaps my definition of "classic space" is different (22 years?? They just started making poseable minifigs about 22 years ago, didn't they?). With all the AFOL out (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jan-01, to lugnet.space)
