PicLink will work when BS folder is moderated. A few deep links below.

Ladies and gents, this is Kogeru.

I’m afraid the mech doesn’t picture that well, IMO, and so I’m afraid you’re going to have to take my word for it that it looks better in person.

This mech borrows somewhat from the frame priciples developed by Marcus Clancy and Eric Sophie, so kudos to them!

Kogeru is meant as a soldier type mech. Small enough for city work, heavy enough to take out most of what it runs into. The fins on the back are meant to be a folding kind of propultion device for the purposes of jumping or short flight. Strictly sci-fi, I have no idea how such a thing would supposed to work. That’s the beauty of sci-fi though, ain’t it? Something about technology resembling magic and being sufficently advanced? :)

MOC page coming soon.

Neat Pose
Backside and aformentioned fins

BIG, Klunky, very imposing. Did I miss anything, Mark? Oh, yeah...fins remind me of an early Mladen creation. Not sure how I feel about the colorscheme...I'm not fond of yellow non-construction mechs in general, so I'll admit to my bias there. I (...) (20 years ago, 18-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) Hi Mark, I'm afraid it looks better in person! It looks great on the pics. When I first glanced on it I thought it's about Shogun size. I'm impressed how you managed to get Kogeru look that massive. I also like the colour scheme. I haven't (...) (20 years ago, 18-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Doesn't photograph well, huh? They say the camera adds 10lbs, so maybe he's actually sort of anorexic looking? With the exception of the tan dog-robot heads for fingers I dig the color scheme. I don't know how well it would work as urban camouflage, (...) (20 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) I like the bulkiness. It looks a bit lumbering but isn't that the "big and mean" standard? Also like the slope usage on the front. And for some damn reason I just love the blood red/yellow combo! So shoot me but I'm really diggin it! Wierd (...) (20 years ago, 19-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Kind of looks like a dwarf version of your mechs; shorter but bulkier, with really strong muscles. It looks like it could be designed for use on a planet with strong gravity, like two or three G's. The yellow and dark red is an interesting (...)
