Re: My First Post, and it's a biggun

Hi there and welcome! One word to describe what I see... Stunning! You certainly have got a keen eye for building, everything about these MOC's is great. From the brilliant colour control, to the expert use of shapes and joints combines to form (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: My First Post, and it's a biggun

What an impressive suite of work. When I first saw it on Brickshelf, I immediatly submitted it to Zemi.net You can see the post here: (URL) I like the mix of new and old gray, it works nicely when done right. I see influences of Paul Hartzog, Soren, (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: My First Post, and it's a biggun

(...) (snip) Wow. I don't think I have ever seen such a dramatic newbie entry. That stuff rocks and I don't even LIKE mechs. Bravo. I like the color schemes, I'm a sucker for red and grey. I especially like the little flying support vehicles a lot. (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

My First Post, and it's a biggun

This is my first post, so i'll give a little backstory: After a long hiatus (about 15 years, i stopped playing with toys around 12), I bought the rebel snowspeeder set last winter, and i've been addicted ever since. I then began collecting all the (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX) !!

  Re: Space casino Columbia

(...) Ain't NUTHIN wrong with dat! Very original and well done! Love those Robo-dealers and your commentary. I better carry a second spacesuit on me when I go there. "Big Daddy" Nelson (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Space casino Columbia

Hello Kenn, Great fun. The lack of polish notwithstanding, this is chock full of excellent details. You must have had fun making it. I'm glad to see you've put it on MOC pages; you seem to have settled right in. The captions allow you to highlight (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Space casino Columbia

Hello, I'd like to present a project that started with me toying with oddball parts for a space project and moved quickly out of control. It's not terribly polished, but I'm ready to move on, and relatively happy with the result. Enjoy the riverboat (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.western, lugnet.build) !!

  Re: The "44"

Hey Tony, I'm enjoying this one. That's a great use for those lattice pieces. While I find the black part on the front a tad heavy visually, I can see it as shielding for the craft. Kind of like those 5mph bumpers they had to tack onto cars in the (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: MINIMUM-SPACE-POD

Excellent build Kotaro. Thanks for posting it here. Your work has also been (URL) the talk of Classic Space Forum, recently.> While it's very compact, it lacks nothing. I especially like the landing gear; it's so simple yet totally effective. I (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  MINIMUM-SPACE-POD

Hi, Space-Fans! As you may already know (Thank you curators, for "MOC Highlight".), I finally made up my own space-pod with new brackets of #7236"CITY/police car". (URL) added some shots about structure of this ship. Check'em out and let me know (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.space) !!

  Re: X-Wing Mark IV

Wow, now that is an X-wing! Great write up too. Beefy and the construction looks well done. I was thinking that the canopy looked a little small for the scale, but I guess that can't be helped. Either way, wow, great job! e (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: YAAC (Yet another air car)

(...) What a MOC on the top stories list with no replies!?! I'll take a moment, because I think this MOC is cool! The seat back in that cokpit is so very cool, I'm glad I took a closer look and even more happier that you sharred it. I dig the front (...) (20 years ago, 5-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The "44"

(...) Very nice! I wonder if I can make an Apocryphal version... I particularly love the large engine pods. Dave! (20 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Site update

(...) There's some cool stuff here. My favorite is the Tengri, because it's such a weird shape. The Huskarl has a really nifty cockpit arrangment too. And the handlebar engine detailing on various ships works well. The Erlik makes great use of (...) (20 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: X-Wing Mark IV

(...) The shaping is mighty impressive, as are many of the details. My favorites include: - Curved leading edge of the wing. The engines: these are beautifully done from tip to tail Greebling on the rear end of the body The little intake on the nose (...) (20 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: X-Wing Mark IV

(...) That is a beautiful model. By creating a different version of the x-wing rather than a replica, you were able to make the most of Lego parts, without having to force them to represent particular shapes. The result is delightful. -John Van (20 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Space Penguins

(...) Cool. I love the penguins. Somehow it reminds me of 123 Penguins! (URL) Maybe I am spending too much time watching TV with my daughter. :) -Alfred (20 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Site update

(...) Hello there Sylvia. Great to see you back and great to see all these cool MOCS! I am really impressed but the STUDLESS look you have accomplished and the color scheme. It is really hard to choose a favorite because they are all so well done. (...) (20 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Eastern Block T-49 C.R.U.S.H.

(...) Hey Rick. Best rendition of the WH40K Dreadnought EVER! I have seen others done on Brickshelf but I have to say this is my favorite so far. I enjoyed your changes here and there but you have captured the Dreadnought really close. I have always (...) (20 years ago, 4-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)
