(...) My guess is with one of these: (URL) But that's just a guess until I can get home and try it. Or until David posts the answer.. James Wilson Dallas, TX (19 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear —Richard W. Schamus
(...) I just got home and tried your solution, and then the one I proposed. Your solution didn’t work. I couldn’t get either end in between the knuckles of the ski skid. I then tried my solution with the my solution (6246a Minifig Tool Screwdriver), (...) (19 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear —Richard W. Schamus
(...) No problem. I saw Rob's query at work, and thought immediately that it was the screw driver. I just had to test it out when I got home this afternoon, because I wanted to know. I proceded to make one of those rifles myself. Looks really nice. (...) (19 years ago, 25-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear —David Rabadan
(...) Really? Is it coming apart? I played around with the parts so that I got a pretty stable MOC. I used new parts also. I shake it around, poke it, and drop it on my desk with no probs :).         Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear —Mladen Pejic
(...) NICE! I dislike most minifig weapons I see people make because they are either: composed of mutilated LEGO weapons, custom-made molds, or ridiculously oversized. HOWEVER... Yours are just wonderful David. In particular, The flechete gun, light (...) (19 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear —David Rabadan
(...) I know what you mean. I rather not destroy or mutilate them. If I cannot do it with current parts then I just don't do it. I have been contemplating molds. But I think it is so much more fun to figure out ways of working with what you got. (...) (19 years ago, 24-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear —Kyle Vrieze
(...) David, these weapons and booster packs are great! You continue to build on your portfolio of maximum minimization. Most of the rest of us need way more weight, size and volume to get that kind of detail and realism. I predict these will be (...)          Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear —David Rabadan
(...) Hello Kyle. Thanks for the compliments! I definitely try to minimize size and part count while trying not to compromise too much the details. Thanks for commenting on the booster packs also. You are the only one so far to have said anything (...) (19 years ago, 25-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear —Keith Goldman
(...) Nice work David, I thought the use of the ski was particularly inspired, and the jetpack was a nice compact design. I made copies of each and I'm working on some variants. Thanks for the inspiration. -Keith (19 years ago, 27-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Tieran Marine Core Gear —David Rabadan
(...) Hey Keith. Thanks for that. Let me know when you finish those variants, I would really like to see them I am working on some ideas myself, one in particular with a light saber kilt. Regards, David (19 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
