Break it down for the homies, E, how many actual hours of those 5 days were
devoted to building?
|
All day, until tooth pics under eyelids are needed. Just kidding, this was a
casual build.
|
In my way of thinking, 6 is too many connections to the lunar ghetto. Do you
really want fleebnorks and spam-boys running wild in this oustanding moc?
Think about some explosive bolts, chain-guns or at least some signage to keep
the riff-raff out.
|
Good point.

This was my only problem with this dio. I dont particularly mind that you
used them, it certainly is creative, but they are jarring to my sensitive
eyes. Im also a little dissapointed that you didnt include your kick-$%&
cranes and gantry-arms from Mech Bay 07 and many of the others. Still, I
appreciate the fact that you were trying something new.
|
Yes just trying something interesting.

I have to agree with Comrade Crackhead and others who gave much love for the
green-on-green action. I think it would be interesting and potentially
awesome if you somehow added some green to Chili, to give the whole setting
an abandoned, overgrown look. I dont know how practical it would be, but it
would really add even more to the mood of the dio. Dont get me wrong, it
still looks great, but that was the first thing that came to mind.
|
What a cool idea. I like it.
|
I think this is the return of the Magnificent Bastard! Not that you really
went anywhere. As with all of the previous incarnations of the mechbay, the
gantry is the highlight for me, you really have a knack for building them in
a way that they dont dominate the moc, but look well detailed. I also liked
the xpod container at the bottom, I have not seen one used in a dio yet.
Well done E.
|
I used 5 in Mech Bay 07 under the Hover Fish Dock.
What is cool about this build and using them, was, that the xpod sits connected
to the Soccer brick plate via technic pin. It cups it just perfect. Try it.
Thanks again for the props, I had fun making this last Mech Bay. I have run out
of Grey.
