Hm... I realize that part of the idea is to make it look like a big-ol ironclad
vessel, but Marks right, as is it kinda looks plain. If it werent called
Ironclad I might not get the reference.
Perhaps one way to emphasize the point would be to have paneling with rivets
or some such. Large squares of tiles, with 1x1 rounds or exposed studs
protruding here and there in rectangle-type patterns to give it that really
iron feeling. Too bad they dont really make tiles in ridiculous sizes like
6x6 or 8x10 or something. Then you could use the brick seams between tiles to
excentuate (or however you spell that) the panels.
I spose the real brickspensive way to do that would be to have black tiles laid
on their sides at the brick seams, or have a half stud offset between panels so
you really DO get an indented seam. Hm. That might look pretty cool.

(20 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
