  Re: Moon shuttle

(...) Wow! Thanks Ken! Folding gear : always a + for me, he he! And the fins : yes, I agree with you, they are not very functionnal on the Moon, but I like the retro look they give to this shuttle. Cheers, JP. (21 years ago, 26-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Thanks Bill! Let's go for the Lincoln Galactic Navigator! It's been long time since I want to make a space limo. This one came close, but what I have in mind is more an over-limo, like the (URL) one> Bram Lambrecht did about one year ago. (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) I love this MOC. Sort of simple compared to some, but HIGHLY effective. The stairs integrated into the hatch works well, the large twin engines.. very space 1999-ish, yet not. The compact gear petty nice too. Not sure that you'd need fins or (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Tanks or Power Armor

(...) This is an interesting discussion that I've seen before in other places, but never commented on before, so I figured I'd add my own $.02. Most of the time, it seems that the comparison is made between future power armor systems and current (...) Thank you all for your comments! I a very pleased to hear that I've masked the frailty of this vehicle very well prime weak spots include the point where the trunks connect in front and the engine assembly in back. Constructing something so small (...) (21 years ago, 25-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) What, do you or don't you play BrikWars? PBB is Mike's generic term for parts... and it expands exactly the way you have it IIRC.(1) ++Lar 1 (URL) (21 years ago, 25-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: Jade Empire Hong Hovertank

Snippage (...) The Russian winter gave the Russians victory on the Russian front, more so than the T-34. Although having vehicles and equipment that could take the cold were a large part of that equation. Mike (21 years ago, 25-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Transparent Aluminum

(...) Being a ceramic, its ductility would be nil so I'm not too confident they could do too many shapes just yet. All the same, its a great creation and it would seem to pose many forming challenges... Jeff (21 years ago, 25-Aug-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.off-topic.geek, FTX)

(...) Indeed, the Eastern Block's technological paradigm is power in numbers. Our designs tend to be small and affordable in such a way that we can field twice or thrice the number of our enemies, and thus achieve victory. Historical Note: During (...) (...) I think it also will have interesting implications for the aviation and automotive industries.
