Civilian MOC contest entry #2 : White Speeder —Jean-Pascal Rignault
Hello .spacers! Here is my second entry to the Grand Admiral Contest : a white speeder. I also thought about "white hover car", or "white air car", even "whiter speedster" for the name of this MOC... as you can see, fancy names only! Warning : a few (...)         Re: Civilian MOC contest entry #2 : White Speeder —David Laswell
(...) Woohoo! Love the silver Bohrok eyes at the ends of the front bumper. Hate how the blue axle-pins that hold them on stand out. Not thrilled about the two-tone bumper. It's too bad they didn't make a silver 1x5 liftarm, but it might have worked (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Blue pins : I needed some friction pins. I am not sure the beige pins have "friction enough". Hmmmm I would have like to use a 1x5 in light grey, but then I was stuck with the color of the front grill. Maybe dark grey then? (...) Oula! I am (...)      (...) And a great use of bionicle parts it is! especially the borok cockpit. looks like a big honkin' space gas-hog (or would it be spamcake-hog?). very cool. Jeff (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Yo JP! Y'know, I really like this moc. A lot. But it's when I imagine it about three colors less. :-) Awesome shape, great part usage, but the many different colors, especially the technic bits in the front, are driving me nuts! But very (...)      (...) What? Too many colors? Hmmm yes, maybe the blue pins in front, the bumper in, heu, grey, the central part of the bumper in dark grey, some beige inside and on the sides... it's nice isn't it? Thanks Chris! JP. (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) JP, This is really cool and it looks like it came from the pulp science fiction magazine cover of the 1950s. Thanks, George (20 years ago, 3-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Thanks! Glad you like it. I also have a 50s feeling with this hover-car. I think if I built it in black, it could look like a Batmobile! I think I'll give it a try.... Cheers, JP. (20 years ago, 4-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
