  Re: Kevoh: The Comic

(...) I did indeed. the word bubbles were a bit too big, but otherwise, it was totally cool! Can't wait for part 2! -Lenny (21 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Kevoh: The Comic

Hello! I am starting a little comic series. I don't know how long it will be yet, but here's the first episode. (URL) There might not be as much spacey-goodness as future episodes, but I hope you enjoy! ~Kevin Blocksidge (21 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX) !

I might could make this, Joe. I'll have four(-ish) modules if we do a moonbase, and some big red capital ships. Who else is in? -Teddy (21 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.org.scibrick, lugnet.space, lugnet.events, lugnet.loc.us.nc.ral, lugnet.loc.us.nc.dur, FTX)

  Re: zemi.net

(...) I think that's where it went wrong. ALL the pictures I have looked at were wider than high, so all the thumbs are compressed sideways. Once you've noticed it, it's almost impossible to ignore... (...) noticeable? As I noticed it at once, yes, (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: PCS Troopers are GO!

(...) Hmm... Nice job! The huge FREEM blaster seemed to look too large and chunky but after looking at it for a while I learned to love it. Anyways I like the playability here that’s really cool! my only complaint is that the PCS troopers make my (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: PCS Troopers are GO!

THis is really cool, I like the color scheme, and the "combat ready" feel of the creation as a whole. I love this stuff! Keep it coming! Jon (21 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: zemi.net

(...) Well sure... the distortion mostly isn't noticeable. If you can't tell what the pictures are showing, then what does it matter that they're horizontally squeezed? Many of your thumbs are not very helpful at actually determining what they take (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: NBA Space Container Madness - Let the flames begin

  Re: Spyshot: Spamcake Speeder

(...) ....Not that there's anything wrong with that! :-) Thanks, Paul! I look forward to your pink project-- we would have the makings for the Pink Power Fleet:-) Actually, it wouldn't be such a bad strategy-- I have heard of studies analyzing the (...)   Re: Spyshot: Spamcake Speeder

(...) Nice one John. I've considered building a pink spaceship for some time now - I'd got the parts together and done some preliminary experimentation, but you went and done it. And extra marks for not putting in a girl minifig as the pilot! ;-) (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: PCS Troopers are GO!

(...) Very, very nice. Colour scheme could have done with highlights of a third colour from an aesthetic point of view, but I guess there may be more important considerations colour-wise... and I can't fault the functionality which is awesome. Nice (...) (21 years ago, 14-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: zemi.net

(...) Most images are centered enough that cropping an eighth off either side won't clip a significant part of the picture. You could also do more abstract thumbs that use only a small portion of the image, but then you would need some descriptions (...)   lotsa new (microscale) MOCs

I did these over the past few days: I made 5 MOCs simultaneously using all the pieces in set 4096 Micro Wheels: 1st, a tanker truck: (6 URLs) I was going to stop there, but wanted to make another MOC & this sport coupe is the result: (5 URLs) after (...)   Re: NBA Space Container Madness - Let the flames begin

  Re: zemi.net

(...) Well, that's because that is exactly what we did. Jon wanted small, square thumbs. Since they were so small we figured the distortion wouldn't be that bad, compared to simply clipping the image. (This is all automatic of course. So cropping on (...)
