I guess I was somewhat wrong about this set. I bought it today and I'm not
really disappointed. You're spot on about the pieces, they're pretty good.
There is a pleasing assortment of dark grey in this set. The printing on the
trans-green saucer pieces is not pleasant, but I'd really like to put such
pieces in a Space Police 2 own-creation and the printing might just be
tolerable.
It's ugly, but you could make a decent bug out of it. It kind of reminds me
of the new Railway Express, ugly but with the potential for us to improve on
it. Maybe TLG has a sinister plan to make our kids try harder to build their
own creations.
Ever the optimist.
