Re: Professor Whateverley gets in a little research...

(...) Hello Folks. Lest anyone should misinterpret my recent silence, I've been working long hours with barely a few moments to lurk. It looks like I have a lot of catching up to do... My research at brickfest went very well. I believe I may have (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.castle, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

Re: B'Omar and F'Omar Deep Space Fighters

(...) Thanks, the globelike canopy would be tricky at minifig scale: I like the 'neck' between the cockpit and the fuselage. (...) It's built... pics will be up in a few days. (...) Absolutely! (URL) ...very swooshable for something so small. Cheers (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  [MOC] YA40K Chaos Talon Fighter-Bomber

Yet another in my on going colection of models from GW's Warhammer 40K. (URL) model here (URL) a generic gray for first version and I will most likely do a Nurgle or/and a WordBearers later. Best DaveG (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.space)

  Re: Space Bubble Car

(...) The driver's seat is placed within the bubble... it's a 2x4 plate with 2x1 plates with horizontal handles at both ends. It's a fairly snug fit, though you can move the driver through the roll axis with bit of shaking (so he can 'lean' into the (...) (22 years ago, 23-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Looking for Eschenstein

Hello! (...) Well, this is the disadvantage of the recent privacy practice at BrickShelf :-( Unfortunatelly I can't find any connection to any persons I know, sorry. I'm not even sure if the person who built this creations is really German. At least (...)   Starhawk Space Racer

Greetings! I had posted a teaser of this model several weeks ago. I enjoyed whooshing it around the apartment while I waited on some plain white 3 x 12 slopes from Bricklink to complete it (I didn't want to Brasso my only pair of JSF slopes). (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space) !

Re: My P-38 entry - not the Paparazzi-38:)

(...) Very slick. I wouldn't have done the patchy color scheme myself, but that may merely be due to my limited imagiantion. It's almost System scale, only a bit beefier - good to play with, but not too heavy to whoosh as mine tend to be. (...) Well (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  P-38 contest

Just a short note to say wow. The responses to this contest have been nothing short of awesome. Kudos to all the entrants and to the contest originator! That is all. (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

In lugnet.org.us.indylug, Steven McDonough wrote: Is the rest of your fleet still (...) No Blacktrons were harmed in the making of this space station. There are all nicely packed away awaiting transportation to the show :) (...) I'll move a few (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, lugnet.space)

Re: More Bluebird fighter pics, was: Blue Pod...

(...) Agreed - minifigs shouldn't gasp for air in space, like in the escape pod in the first M. Falcon set (from Greg Hyland's comics at FBTB.net): (URL) (...) yup, i tried to make the cool overall shape of the ship first, but the pieces i had left (...)
