  Re: Mirage

(...) Wow Dan. This is a very versatile design. Looking at this (URL) picture>, I said to myself "Wow! That would even look cool upside down or maybe even verticle." Question: Did you intend to use the missile pods as a landing gear or was that just (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Pushy boy

(...) Neat. The joining mechanism is really cool; it looks like it could be used to build some tri-wing ships too (like a better version of the Skyhopper). Very clever. John (22 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Adding new P-38 entires soon

Just a note to let you know I'll be updating the page soon. We have a lot of new entries. The contest will definitely be extended one month as well. Great stuff guys! (22 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: SV-38 Starfleet Vanguard

(...) Ha! Fun stuff. Any semblance of that model brings a welling nostalgic tear to my trans-green visor. -G (22 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: First MOC in a while: the Sparrow Dasher

(...) I'm always a sucker for police MOC's :) Great concept, but I'm wondering if grouping the black and white into colour blocks or linear sections (like on police cruisers) might it clean up a bit...the checkering takes away somewhat from the (...)   Re: Pushy boy

(...) Wow! I love it! Using those 'bicep' curves on the top of the pod part is wonderful...consider it on my to-steal list ;) The pushing cannister looks excellent as well...a real sense of power in such a compact craft. Truly excellent. Cheers, (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Little jet, fighter

(...) Thanks John! No intentions for the slide looking doors on the helicopter. It's all about imagination and suggestivity and I think it very well could have been sliding doors of a rescue copter. :-D Nathanael (22 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)

Taking LUGNET to the next level

Chats with people at BrickFest PDX last weekend got me thinking a lot more about LUGNET and its role in the community. I've bounced some of my thoughts off of various people (including three people from LEGO) and responses varied from positive to (...)   Re: Argent Supra

(...) That's the part! I would love to have a few hundred of that piece in gray. Thanks for the compliment. And don't worry - I know a few AFOLs who stick to building trains because it's easier than building spaceships... ~~~~~~J Cheers, (URL) (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Argent Supra

(...) Thanks Pat. I wanted to find an application for the lime green I'd accumulated - with the purchase of a pile of cheap 3x12 lime green wedges on Bricklink, the project sort of presented itself. At the end of the day, I think it would have (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: SV-38 Starfleet Vanguard

(...) Nice job. I think I would have aligned the dish pods closer in, to line up with the two fuselage parts - that would fit the P-38 aesthetic more closely (IMHO). Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (22 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  SV-38 Starfleet Vanguard

Miniland Figure Star Wars MOC: Bothan Spy

This is sort of a redo of two of my older (and now pretty crummy looking by comparison) figures: my original Bothan and Stormtrooper. Disguised in a modified Imperial Scout Trooper uniform, this armor has flight capabilities, perfect in case a hasty (...)   Re: Pushy boy

Thanks Soren! I think this join can be used on larger ships, to attach 2 engines on both sides for example. At least I will try! I especially like the 45 deg. angle it creates. JP. (22 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Pushy boy

Sweet. Pods never seem to go out of style, do they? I really like the join between the cockpit pod and main hull, very creative. The use of Racers slopes on the pod is also nice, the way those parts match up with the curve of the radar dishes. Soren (22 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)
