Re: It would be cool to have...

snip (...) As a long time lurker and relatively new poster, I thought I would add some of my own observations. First, there are some well established builders in the community that you can almost count on to post something uber-cool everytime they (...) (22 years ago, 17-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX) !

The "Slow and Steady" - GXP38 Short-Range Cargo Hauler

(URL) Based off all the fabulous inspiration for the P-38 contest, I decided to try my hand at something a little different and created the Slow and Steady, a Tiberius Class Family Cruiser (about 20 years outdated) that has been refurbished several (...)   Re: It would be cool to have...

(...) Maybe I was being a bit extreme, but I do think some good MOCs in the past made by unknown people have gone largely ignored in favor of space guru's creation. However, this has changed in the last few months. I've seen some newbies make a (...) (22 years ago, 17-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: It would be cool to have...

(...) I don't think there's really all that much argueing in .space. I'm not sure about the new builder thing. I do believe that we can come off as elitist, though it's not intentional. One of the things that will need a lot of thought with a (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: It would be cool to have...

(...) I have to argue* against you on your point about new builders not being able to work their way into the community. I think the members here are incredibly welcoming. As soon as I started getting my stuff posted here (owe you some personal (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: P-38 Contest entry: OR-38 SkipJack

(...) Thanks! Yeah, I tried to clump the color scheme- I don't use white much, but I thought this would be a perfect time to try a white/grey scheme. I also tried to get all the angles right too, I wanted this to work well. More excercise in snot... (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: LEGOFan.net - central community run hub for all areas of the LEGO community.

(...) Icky. What about when amatures come in and write code that is... laughable... at best. Then you have a website made of mangled, chaotic code that definetly does not help the community at all. Poor commenting, bad structure, inefficent (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, lugnet.publish, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.trains)
