Hey Paul! Very impressive design and excellent presentation (please tell me youll save that landing bay for future MOCs!). You definitely are the king of the 3 X 12 slopes. Im still struggled with what to do with the 4 I have. Those engines are (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Cool little ship, but the coolest thing is it got you back building again. Sometimes, when inspiration is lacking, competitions like this provide just the right seed to prompt us to put bricks together. That's exactly where I was a couple of (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

Thanks Prof! I definitly find more inspiration in 40's and 50's cars and trucks than in recent designs. It also seems to be what's working in most of design studios, particulary with that kind of revival trend we see in concept cars and prototypes. (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Yeah, I saw yours on the contest page. Neat. You went with a p-38 version of 891 whereas I went more with a 928/918 version. (...) I did try to restrict parts usage to parts from the era, but sometimes you just gotta do ;), and parts like the (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Nice work! I really dig that use of plates to give that ribbed effect on top. And the engine looks really cool too. The car kind of reminds me of those 70's sci-fi "car of the future" efforts, the sort of cars Syd Mead would design. Cheers, (...) (22 years ago, 16-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

My love affair with the 3x12 wedge slope continues: (URL) Argent Supra This came out a bit more old-school than I intended. And a lot bigger (it sort of strains the boundaries of whooshability!).
