Re: Pander Hunter, an entry for the P-38 contest

The P-38 derivative is neat, but I really like the tanker. I don't know if it's intentional, but the mottled effect of the slightly different shades of white gives it a "well-worn" look, like a tanker should have. James Wilson Dallas, TX (22 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: The P-38 Lightning Space Contest

(...) I agree on the basic shape. I just think that the pointed tail of the cockpit in the G1 is better looking than the shorter one of the P38. That's my "point" (oh, and a little proud of the G1 being dutch design) But don't feel offended, I was (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: First post - Any beach on the Moon base?

Dear Larry, At that time, I saw the thread started by Trevor, but I couldn't find the way to reply (how to post on Lugnet) :-( I saw Porco Rosso, and most of Myasaki's movies (great source of inspiration), but that's not what I had in mind when (...) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Nighthawk - Crimson Skies???

I think this sort of qualifies as Crimson Skies, though it turned out a wee bit too futuristic.   Re: New MINI Moc: The Shadow

(...) Dude, that is neato. Original and it refuses to yield to the demands for a cockpit and landing gear. Well played. Now only if oyu could wedge a minifig in there ;-) Kyle (URL) (22 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.space)

Thanks Professor! (...) Too many parts are only available in few colors in my collection, but I see it as a good way to force oneself to try and match them. JP. (22 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: First post - Any beach on the Moon base?

Thanks Larry! When I found how to use the exhausts as front bumpers, I thought it gave the front part of that car a nice and agressive look. Beter have this one in front of you, rather than in your back! JP. (22 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

Thanks Aaron! I really wanted this Barchetta to be as smooth as possible. I have to recognise it took me long time before daring to post anything in here... Now that I receive a warm and friendly welcome, I'll dare more often! JP. (22 years ago, 4-Feb-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: First post - Any beach on the Moon base?

Pander Hunter, an entry for the P-38 contest

Hello all! Alexander and I were just reading up on Lugnet when Jon posted the exciting contest. Alexander had a half-finished SNOTty fighter on the desk and he was stuck, so we decided to change it into a P-38. The Ceres Spaceworks Pander Hunter: (...)
