  Re: 3 ideas I had

(...) Three might be tricky to pull off. There are only three pieces that I can think of that allow you to attach things at exactly 120 degree intervals, and one of them is a fairly new TECHNIC tri-beam that only comes in two sets. This is probably (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle)

(...) Here's another way to get 120 degree angles with hinge bricks: (URL) got the idea from Jon Palmer: (URL) course, four axes spinning around would be pretty easy--I'd use the 4x4 round brick in brown as a hub: (URL) technic half-pins fit into (...)   Re: 3 ideas I had

(...) Ah, my mistake. I can't recall any specific uses of that design that I've seen, but I'd still be surprised if it hasn't been used before by someone (flip it upside-down and it sounds like a neat idea for part of a nano-scale building). I (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle)

(...) Actually I think this idea was used in 5850 The Royal Crystal Palace. Well, ok, I think it uses cones. Frank (20 years ago, 24-Jan-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle)
