I’m hitting the road tonight and its North West Brick Con or Bust!

I have the pleasure and rare experience to go on a Lego Fan Road Trip. Stopping at ADFoL homes along the way. Some of the stops include picking up MOCs for transport to the NWBC for the Mecha and Space Displays.

I will not be online for the duration. Except maybe at points along the Trip, I may post here to track my progress. I also have a Video Mini DV Cam, I’ll be interviewing people along the way. I guess I’ll get to make that Lego Fan Movie once talked about after all.

:)

Wish me Luck!

(...) Well, the tour survived its stop at the Brickfrenzy Design studios here in Cleveland. In tow towards BrickCon is now my map mosaic (boy, I sure hope that the frame will be built) the Nebuchadnezzar, and the Dark Side Moonbase Module. So even (...) Well, Eric just left here about a half hour ago - headed out to Chris Maddison's house in Ottumwa, IA. (URL) We had a lot of fun -- last night Eric visited the First LEGO League team I'm working with and showed a couple of his smaller mecha. Then we (...) (...) Eric, you've inspired me--I'm road-tripping up there myself--I just got the details worked out today. I plan on leaving Wednesday afternoon, since for me, it's a mere 1100 miles up the coast! When a big name like Eric Sophie comes for a visit, you've got to show him a warm welcome. And nothing says welcome more than packing him, your wife, 2 cats, the dog, and yourself into the car for a vet visit. Many thanks for the extra hands, Eric. (...)
