The weekend before BrickFest, the GA was sharing his Grand Spiffcraft with
me, and I was inspired to create my own giant Spiffcraft. I originally
planned on doing only a minifig version, but my brother encouraged me to
create a scale Spaceman Spiff for the ship. So, I built both. The different
interiors easily swap out of the center section.

Bram,
Bill Watterson would be proud! This is fantastic. I much prefer the Calvin
version than the minifig version. More true to the original. I wish I had the
ability to do landing gear like that. My brain doesn’t think mechanically that
well. Wow. What a ship. Keep up the good designs!

Landing gear *is* very difficult to do like this. Mine is closely designed after the gear (...) (21 years ago, 16-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)
