is there a way to give a turn-table a little more friction - or even a friction
turntable?  I like using them, but they swing every which way every time you
pick them up - i don't like it.

thanks in advance

One way to increase the friction on a single plate motion (like a swing-wing aircraft for example) is to use 2 of them...one on top and one on bottom with the plate sandwiched between. Surround the turntable on the bottom surface with tiles and the (...) (21 years ago, 15-May-03, to lugnet.space)

Travis, I tried a Lego rubber band around the center post and I it would not seal correctly. I also tried around the outer circle on the base with no increase in friction. Are you using a different rubber band or am I just doing it wrong? Thanks in (...) (21 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Hi Leonard, I'm with Travis on this one. A small piece of paper sandwiched inbetween a turntable of any size will give you a good amount of friction. Felix (URL) (21 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.space)
