No, it's just for looks right now. Actually, I'm considering making
retractable gear but I have to get more parts to redesign the underside. The
only reservation I have is that, if I were to focus more on realism, I don't
think this is a ship that would land. But I haven't really come up with a
good display stand design that would work for a ship this size without
taking attention away from the ship (as well as eating up my collection). So
I'm still thinking about it. For now, I thought those made pretty cool
stands. They're actually very detailed. I'll try to get a picture when I get
around to taking detail pics.
