That's very nice, Duane.  The overall shape is really cool- it conveys the
sense that this is a no-nonsense, long distance bike.  The boosters on the
side are a nice touch, and the fins around the nose convey a great
rocket-like feel, with the tapering nose cones.

The minifig looks pretty cool, as well.  The storyline is pretty cool.

Second a gladius is a short sword a gladiator commonly used. It's also where
the word gladiator comes from.

Roman Arcane is the oldest rider in the circuit. He built his bike around one
concept: outlast all opponents. While his bike is only slightly slower than
most his
bike has nearly 4 times the fuel capacity.
Roman's body can't always take the extreme velocities the younger crowd can
so he tends to do only distance races where the extra fuel comes in handy.
Gladius sports 6 output engines for forward thrust, four small outputs for
hovering
and maneuvering, and three around the bikes nose, again to assist in
maneuvering.
Gladius' nose is heaver than most from being reinforced and the nose point can
hold the entire weight of the bike and rider. The reinforcements came in handy
one day as Roman's reflexes weren't up to par and the entire bike slammed into
a 5 foot thick wall, punched through it and kept on going without stopping.

Again this MOC was created by Duane Drumm as was the story. I just typed as
he dictated it to me.
