This MOC Stared out when I was wondering if I could combine the Jedi
starfighter canopy with the Naboo starfighter canopy. I wanted a cool
looking forward/behind cockpit. So last Saturday I pushed aside my month
old, half built frieghter and started playing around with the canopies. On
Sunday I had this, The Dragon Gunship. It's kinda a cross between a scaled
down Marines Dropship from "Aliens" and the Orca Fighter from Command and
Conquer Tiberian Sun.

(Sorry for the links to Brickshelf. I know it has been a little slow lately.
Just be patient until I get my new webpage up.)

Weird... but I like it. Nice effect- I always love canopies like that. They compare better to today's 2-man aircraft. The lasers on the sides are cool too, they make for a cool shape on this ship. Were do you get these ideas! :) very cool, can't (...) (22 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Jamie this is very cool. I'm not sure if you did this on purpose, but the cockpit is actually reminiscent of the head of the alien in the Alien movies! I really like the dark grey side structures that house the cannons, very good SNOT work. This (...) (22 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

I love this thing. I've been pencilling some ideas out for a little while for ships to be used by the ACER division....not too big, not too small..just big enough to carry some firepower and gear. This ship suits that role perfectly - I'm afraid (...) (22 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Hooooly moly. That's one schaweet looking model. Needless to say I stole a bunch of ideas from those teaser pics for my Carona atkcraft. The tail and cockpit rock! Keep up the great work! -- Mark Nelson LCC Command: (URL) (22 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Hey Jamie, me again. I am completely lacking in original ideas these days. So, as many of you may have noticed, I have a habit of reproducing other peoples' designs. I hope this 'cloning' habit I have comes across as genuine appreciation of the MOC, (...) (22 years ago, 4-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Those canopies look really good. Inside the cockpit looks nice, too. I like the guns and landing gear. You can't go wrong with the Aliens Dropship. -Andrew (...) (22 years ago, 6-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Nice Jamie! Great use of the canopies. That tail reminds me of the one I built a few years ago: (URL) job, all around. That sucker looks *mean*. 8) Ben ---...--- Ben Vaughan buster@marsbase.com (URL) lugnet.space, Jamie Neufeld writes: *snip!* (...) (22 years ago, 9-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)
