    Not entirely clear —Stephen Juby
Hi, er, I'm new to this whole thing, and I need some information on Space Lego (well there's a surprise(!)) So, yes, I'm a huge Space fan, been collecting since I was 6, but unfortunately there was plenty of Space Lego I was too young to get. Now (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Hi Stephen, I'm afraid you háve been conned... As for the 6894 Blacktron I Invader; the 2x1x1 panels should be clear trans yellow and not solid yellow (and they are quite hard to find in sets I believe) The 6941 Battrax and 6954 Renegade (...) (22 years ago, 22-Nov-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Hi Markham, Maybe you're right, but I happen to live overseas (Netherlands) and I must say I have never seen a Blacktron I set before which includes trans-yellow hoses?! But if they do exist I would really love to see a picture of it which (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Not entirely clear —Stephen Juby
(...) Thanks for the info, luckily I was able to get four trans yellow panels and six solid yellow hoses on the 'net, so I can complete them either way. I must admit I thought the pieces on the Invader were probably wrong and I had already bought (...) (22 years ago, 23-Nov-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Not entirely clear —Stephen Juby
I'm also wondering whether Blacktron I models would have come equipped with type 1 or type 2 1x1 modified plates with clip lights (Peeron numbers 4081a and 4081b respectively) I'm guessing they're old enough to have come with type 1s, but if anyone (...)          Re: Not entirely clear —Erik Boons
(...) For the 1x1 modified plates with clip light, I can only say that they all came as type 2 (with a thick ring) on my Blacktron I sets. I guess we should have a look in the past to see in what year the type 2 modified plates 1x1 with clip light (...) (22 years ago, 1-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Not entirely clear —John P. Henderson
Regarding this talk about BT1 hose color, I bought my first Battrax brand new and off the shelf when they were first available here in Massachusetts (well, okay I may have been shopping in New Hampshire). That in-the-box Battrax that I bought here (...) (22 years ago, 1-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Not entirely clear —Erik Boons
(...) OK, So TLC obviously released the Blacktron I sets with different hose colors, because I got my Blacktron I sets from the shelf stores back in 1988 or 1989(?), all including solid yellow hoses while you experienced differences on MISB (...) (22 years ago, 1-Dec-02, to lugnet.space)
