Hey, neat!  Welcome to lugnet!

Thanks

I like what you did with the pod- it reminds me a bit of a Starwars AT-PT.
They always looked stable, hunched low.  I've always liked them better then
AT-STs.

I'm not familiar with the AT-PT. The Starwars.com Databank didn't have an
entry on it, and a Google search, curiously enough, only turned up a Lego
version of it :) so I'm not 100% sure what you're talking about, but thanks
anyway :)

I assume that this is pretty stable, as well?
Those diamonds as lights are a good touch.

Yeah, it's pretty stable. The 3L friction pins have just enough grip to stop
it doing the splits in the position in wpod1.jpg. It's fairly playable too:
you can grasp the legs and trot it around the desk to your heart's content.

The diamonds came about from my Whatever Comes To Hand design philosophy, as
did the minifig.

Great work, and welcome!

Cheers
Allister
