  Monorail roll call

Wow, the moonbase layout at NWBrickCon was a terrific success!!! The monorail running throughout it was a huge crowd pleaser, especially for young girls and boys, who actually fixated their attention for minutes on end. I've got a fair amount of (...)   Re: Monorail roll call

Added lugnet.trains since it wasn't posted to originally and at least one massive monorail collector is not that much into space (hi Cary!). (...) I'll have to post my track counts later, however, the moon base setup demonstrated that a huge (...) (22 years ago, 7-Oct-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Monorail roll call

(...) On the Moon Base Layout, we had 4 basically independent monorail runs. One did run right on the edge of the table and was only run when the crowd was small. Two of the runs connected via a turnout, but a station track prevented one train from (...) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.trains)

(...) Yea, I guess you weren't there when the resulting accident involved your monorail train... :-) Frank (who cleverly educated himself about multiple monorail train operations using someone else's trains...) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.trains)
