I think it could use some guard rails, at least on the walkways around the
central column. That drop could give someone the heebie-jeebies.

Indeed.  Someone at the Michlug meeting mentioned that as well.  I didn't
want the guard rail making it more difficult to land, but I'll have to see
if I can come up with something that looks good and doesn't get in the way.

The slopes on the sides keep it from looking too boxy.
