There have been too many great modules published in the last couple of days
for me to individually praise each one.  I'd just like to say I'm amazed at
the way these have been taking off.  They've blown away my expectations for
how quickly and easily the .space community embraced the standards we set
forth at Brickfest and beyond.  At the next Lugnet gathering (be it
Brickfest 2003, Brickswest, or whatever the folks up in the Northwest are
planning), space is going to rival train for their layout size, and that
pleases this old spacehead greatly.

Thanks bunches, everybody, and keep building!

ps. I've got some great plans for a couple of modules too, it's just that
late summer is a really really tough time for me to try and find time to
build.  Not making a module is driving me crazy!

Cheers

Adrian

Much thanks, and agreed. It's really great to see this level of interactivity (is that a word? :-) As I said a couple times, it'll be great to see these things clustered together at fests. -Chris (...) (22 years ago, 16-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

Adrian, I feel your pain...just moved into a new house, and I think the LSF is the most complete room in the place!!! I've got some cool ideas for moonbase modules, and one that I hope is a real original idea... By the way, any anime heads out there (...) (22 years ago, 16-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Adrian, let me be yet another one to agree and thank you for your compliments. I only wish I could work on one of my other Module ideas right now. But there has been talk of me bringing my BrickSiege layout to NJAC at UMass in October, and (...) (22 years ago, 16-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) Agreed, so far... It's pretty darn amazing and neato too! (...) Rival? Maybe... didn't realise it was a rivalry though... But exceed? if all the train clubs brought all their stuff (never gonna happen, admittedly), though? Still think it would (...) (22 years ago, 17-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)
You know what would be REALLY cool

It would be really really cool if TLC released an official moonbase module with their next space release (it has to happen). It is unlikely they will, but we can dream can't we :). But judging from the way the AFOL space community has jumped on the (...) (22 years ago, 17-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)
  Hear, Hear !

I wholeheartedly agree. Bram mentioned that everyone EXCEPT those of us who pinned down the standard at BrickFest 2002 seems to be building moonbase modules. (alas, i guess we are all busy, i know i am :-( ) i do have a few modules already built (...) (22 years ago, 18-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)
