Oooooh, nice... I really like the moveable gun pod and the opening parts of the cockpit. Great MOC, it has a very visible role and it's very functional. Great work! (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

Ooo... Truly an "all terrain" vehicle. I like your use of all those wedges; the overall shape is very angular. The rear also interests me... How does the shock absorber "work" (shouldn't it work up & down, not at an angled)? Is the assembly flimsy? (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: MOC: Lynx All Terrain Defense Vehicle - Full Launch —Gil Shaw
Many thanks Mladen! Actually, the shock absorber works fairly well. It is on an angle, but rotates on both a small axle in the interior of the body, and the main axle of the back drive. The shaft can freely move over the conveniently angled bottom (...) (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: MOC: Lynx All Terrain Defense Vehicle - Full Launch —John Henry Kruer
Wow, that's cool, Gil! I like the way you lined up all the wedges and SNOT to make the design. I also like the modularity, (have you made any other modules more it? the Gatling pulse gun, and the assymetrical cocpit! Cool! (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

Thanks Tom. I dig assymetry as well, but find it incredibly difficult to pull off most of the time. Ah well....practice, practice. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) You're welcome! Any time I can inspire someone to build such a nifty looking vehicle, I'm happy. I really dig the advertisement for this too. It's a bird, it's a plane, no, it's the Lynx! Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Lynx All Terrain Defense Vehicle - Full Launch —Luke Ma
Awesome. Designs (of anything really) tends to be fully symmetric. It's really cool to see an asymmetric yet extremely well balanced design. I love the balance between the armament and the pilot. Sonic "Gil Shaw" <NIXtoradochSPAM@hotmail.com> wrote (...) (22 years ago, 1-Aug-02, to lugnet.space)
