(...) town/train layouts at the various gathering and events. (Well the pictures anyway I have yet to attent anything :-( One of these times I will.) The ability to make a huge space layout would/will be so cool. My biggest question is how would you (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

Just have the Monorial track wrap around the moonbase. -Slightly trickier method. (would (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Introducing the Moonbase Project —Mike Petrucelli
(...) That would be so cool. I also had an interesting idea. What if someone made a super module using four 48x48 baseplates and had eight corridors (two on each side?) Even a long module on two baseplates, or and 'L' shaped module on three (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

Jon, you say that you want to stick to the 48x48 modules, but since I do not have a 48x48 AND just bought 10 crater plates, I was planning to begin mine as a 9 crater plate module (which is equal to 4 48's). I plan to ensure that the final geometry (...) (22 years ago, 29-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) I really don't see why the above suggestion should be shot down. As long as the borders of the baseplates conform to the original 48x48 standard (i.e. tunnel connectors in the center of at least some of the 48 stud long sides), it will still (...)         Re: Introducing the Moonbase Project —Jeff DeJong
(...) About that, what if u were to have a two story module. Then you could have the corridors on top of one another. Mabey you guys already discussed this. Just a thought. Sounds like a great idea. but i only have 1 of those baseplates. mabey ill (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)
