Is this a good blacktron deal?

There's a brand new sealed in original package Blacktron Alpha Centauri base on ebay and my little brother's birthday is coming up. Does anyone know if the current price is good for that condition, or am I better off waiting? I've only got about 7 (...) (25 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

Oops, I forgot to mention it's at eighty bucks right now so you no one has to look it up. (...) (25 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) Markus, I'd say that's a pretty good deal. The set originally sold for $70 I believe - but it could have been $80. I would pay easily $100-120 for that set, given its collector value. But I do not know how much that set has recently sold for. (...) (25 years ago, 9-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

(...) I don't know exactly, but a month and a half ago or so someone was selling a few MIB (no pun intended) 6987's at a minimum of $130, I think. But in an auction, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see an MIB MIB (just had to :) to go for over (...) (25 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

I ended up getting 6988 for 26 bucks with a few replacement parts and no battery box or wires. I haven't got it in the mail yet, but it's well worth it to me. I can get the rest for about $10 from shop at home, and the pieces that were replaced, (...) (25 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)
