Shuto Fighter - Prototype Toradoch Systems —Gil Shaw
Greetings! A victim of serval techraids on it's Terran and offworld development sites, Toradoch Industries has developed it's first defense platform...the Shuto multi-role gravfighter. Made for short range atomospheric use, it's design is to be used (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Shuto Fighter - Prototype Toradoch Systems —Andrew Martin
(...) I really like that design. The cockpit's nice, and the angle of the cone pieces toward the back is cool. I also liked the Claim Jumper. -Andrew (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Shuto Fighter - Prototype Toradoch Systems —Gil Shaw
Many thanks Andrew. I noticed your post last week introducing some of your MOC's and your site. All are really well put together...the concepts behind both the Combat racing and RAM divsion seem like great jumping points to provide us all with some (...)         Re: Shuto Fighter - Prototype Toradoch Systems —Kyle Keppler
Woa, that is a really interesting little ship. That angle it is at, the intakes, and the little pods at the sides, very nice. Quite original. (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Shuto Fighter - Prototype Toradoch Systems —Gil Shaw
Many thanks Kyle...it came about after seeing the trailer for that upcoming Tom Cruise/Spielberg future cops n' robbers flick. The pursuit vechicles have that Slave 1-ish, semi-vertical orientation. Looks like a good movie actually.... Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)

Cool. Minority Report is gonna be one weird movie (that can be good or bad).. (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Shuto Fighter - Prototype Toradoch Systems —Jonathan Mizner
They're a large portion of the reason I'm going to see the movie. The official site has some good images of the hovercraft, and the "Making of" movies on the site have more information about them. I hope to build one, (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Shuto Fighter - Prototype Toradoch Systems —Kenn Oldham
I really like how the back access and landing gear work - my favorite part of the ship. It enhances the unconventional angle of attack. - Kenn (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Shuto Fighter - Prototype Toradoch Systems —Gil Shaw
Thanks Ken...it took some tinkering and cursing, but it finally held together. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Shuto Fighter - Prototype Toradoch Systems —Jon Palmer
This is a great little ship. Every picture reveals more of its weird shape. That landing cracks me up. (in a good way) The hatch is brilliant. Keep it up. -Jon -- | The Shipyard - (URL) My Lego Creations - (URL) Attack of the Bricks - (URL) Shaw" (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Shuto Fighter - Prototype Toradoch Systems —Gil Shaw
Many thanks Jon...the landing gear does give it a peculiar profile. I feel as if I should be painting the whole thing pink and plopping it on my grandparent's lawn beside the garden gnome! It actually was originally a stand for it that morphed into (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Shuto Fighter - Prototype Toradoch Systems —Jamie Neufeld
Very cool ship. I love it. That landing gear is great and I like the rear entry thing you did. Very different. Glad our ship designs could help you out. You did an excellent job. Jamie www.ozbricks.com/jneufeld (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Shuto Fighter - Prototype Toradoch Systems —Gil Shaw
Thanks kindly Jamie...it was a fun one to build. The rear hatch is actually an experiment in putting together an access tunnel that would allow ships such as this to link up through a common module. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)

Really nice! All the ideas are nice, but I like the hatch alot. Your MOCs are really creative! BTW, a teaser for something I'm building: (URL) Kruer (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jun-02, to lugnet.space)
