With LoM dead, what's next?

I am not sure if any of you noticed, but LoM is not even on the Lego
front page anymore.  After looking at the Marz distribution, it does not
seem that any new space theme is coming along any time soon.

True, there is Star Wars, which can be considered "space", but alas, I
just find it weird that Lego has decided to dump their current space line
with no mention of what is next?

From the looks of it, I doubt there will even be a Lego Legends space set
released.  Kind of sad when Alpha Team has been my main supplier for
building space models.

Hello, When I was at Bricks West earlier this year, Brad Justus from Lego Direct said that with the new SW line comming out for Episode 2, that is pretty much what will be avail. for the space themes for the near future. He flat out said that Lego (...) (23 years ago, 1-May-02, to lugnet.space)

(...) I love the space theme, but frankly, LoM won't be missed by me. I always thought it was kinda cheesy.. M-Tron, Space Police, and Blacktron, THOSE were good lineups. (23 years ago, 8-May-02, to lugnet.space)
