    Wheel question for set 6989 M-Tron Mega/Multi Core Magnetizer —Bob Parker
   Hello - I just bought a <set:6989> with no wheels and I thought that the ones called Hard Plastic Wheel Giant would be the ones for it, but they are too small! Does anybody know what the part number of the real wheels used in this set are? I (...) (23 years ago, 31-Aug-01, to lugnet.space)

     Bob, I love the 6989 MCM, I have two, fortunately. Lets see here: (...) Ouch, the 6989 is the only set EVER to have those wheels, I hope you got a good discount on it. (...)      (...) snip (...) Thanks for the info. I paid $25 for it in an auction. The rest of the set was there and was in great condition so I'm happy about the price I paid even w/o the wheels.    Bob, I broke up this set to sell. I had all 4 sizes of wheels together to compare. At that time, there was no Brickbay catalouge listing for the Large size wheels, part #2515. I added that size to the brickbay database. The Giant wheels are part (...) (23 years ago, 1-Sep-01, to lugnet.space)

   (...) Well, they were listed as Giant in the Brickbay store that I bought them from but are obviously only the Large size since they don't fit the Mega Core Magnetizer set. I think since the Giant wheels are so rare, that people have the Large tires (...) (23 years ago, 1-Sep-01, to lugnet.space)
