(...) Would there be any difference in the accuracy of laser vs. radar? I'm not enough of an EE geek to know, but thought "no" because they're just different wavelengths of the same thing, right? At 1432 hours on July 9th the Iron Eagle: (URL) from 6 feet up when the Bookshelf Landing Platform collapsed. The crew of two prepping for take-off were unscathed but the Iron Eagle was a total loss.
