  Re: Mech Bay 16

Looking good! I'm getting an odd architectural vibe off this one, which suits the mechs to be honest. I've always had trouble visualizing a mech based future, but works like these go a long way to grounding the whole genre. Maybe I'm just too (...) Mech Bay 16 ==== This is my latest Mech Bay. I built this one for the (URL) Jersey City Artist Studio Tour>, and it took about 4 weeks to make.   Re: A whole bunch of MOCs

(...) Thanks! It's my own design. I like the Forbidden Lego book, but I didn't discover it until after I finished building this. -Adam (15 years ago, 24-Sep-09, to lugnet.space, lugnet.technic)

New use for the Mars Rover Solar Panels

I was building with bionicle parts and created this compact cockpit with Bohrok shells. From there I built out and figured this would look good with wings. The spindley body and big "head" has earned it the name DRAGONFLY. It utilizes two of the Toa (...) (15 years ago, 10-Sep-09, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Moonbase

(...) So long as there are even a handful of us building Moonbase, it's not dead. Not by a longshot. I always admired your site, Jon. One day I tried to access it and it was not there. I hadn't realized it had been hacked, of course. But oh, was it (...) (15 years ago, 13-Aug-09, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Moonbase

If we could just get (URL) BrickWiki> up and running again there is a category for Moonbase with some articles already. Off-topic: would it be possible to move BW over to Wetpaint? (15 years ago, 12-Aug-09, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Moonbase

(...) Jon: We had a small contingent of moonbase modules at Brickworld 2009. You can see the pictures (URL) on Bill Ward's Flickr Photostream.   Re: Moonbase

I'm sorry to hear this, Jon. I've always been a huge fan of Moonbase and think it should live on. I'm an editor at Wetpaint, a platform that hosts free wiki sites, and I'd be happy to help you set up a collaborative Moonbase site if you like. It (...) (15 years ago, 12-Aug-09, to lugnet.space)

  Moonbase

Hi. It's been awhile. From what I've seen, Moonbase is more or less dead, and more or less dead at Lego conventions. I suspect that like a lot of building trends, it may have just run its course...which is fine. But I've always felt bad about (...)   Re: Would the last person to leave, please turn out the lights?

(...) Strangely, I never did see LUGNET as a photo-sharing community (not even with the firm connection to Brickshelf). Most of what I use LUGNET for, well... doesn't work on Flickr. It's hard to organize a GBC standard, or trash-talk about a (...) (15 years ago, 7-Jul-09, to lugnet.admin.curators, lugnet.space, lugnet.technic)
