Check out the "Spectre" (URL) This is my 1st attempt at making a starfighter with a fixed swept-forward wing design. It probably comes off more as a futuristic jet than a starfighter. It features 2 laser cannons, 4 missiles, & retractable landing (...) (16 years ago, 4-Oct-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.military, lugnet.space) !

(...) Very nice! ...One might argue this is not a "monolith" as you say, but a megalith, as it has more than one column.
