  Re: Space Police I Retriever

(...) Hey, that's cool! Very sharp and clean-looking. Nice use of color scheme. I'd take a shot at building one if I had the right windscreen. The front landing gear arrangement, and tailfins, look pretty nifty, among other details. -best, Wolf (18 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Space Police I Retriever

(...) Nice work! The colour scheme and the style of ship work well together. The juxtapositioning of old and new elements yields an interesting form! Thanks for sharing. Cheers Richie Dulin (18 years ago, 26-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Sky Math: Blacktronified :oD

Not even the trusty Sky Math is immune from Blacktron pilfering. Here's a NES photo of a Blacktron on what appears to be on a recon over the New Californiator Republic: (URL) The above vehicle shot away into the interstellar depths immediately after (...)   Several new Micro/Mini Models posted (Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar)

Hello my dear fellow builders! I had not yet announced the launch of my new project (URL) yet, as I thought I'd better wait until I can support some more updates.   Re: Cosmic Cruiser Blacktron-I Style

(...) Hi, very nice work; as Space sets hardly ever brought any "cargo" (barrels, containers ...), the Blacktron group can now steal vessels, at least :-) Regards, Florian (18 years ago, 24-Feb-07, to lugnet.space)

  Cosmic Cruiser Blacktron-I Style

An elite command of operatives specialized in stealing vehicles of all sorts and converting them to meet with rigorous Blacktron military specs.   Re: The Yellow Devil

Looking very good! Especially for a space MOC ; ) The streamlined nature of the whole thing appeals to me and the back story represents everything that makes me cringe...and then smile... at space. God Bless and thanks for sharing, Nathan (URL) (18 years ago, 23-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Clearing up scratches on pieces

(...) There is an alternative to the brasso, especially if you are merely trying to do away with scratches and not trying to remove print. The key, FUTURE's Floor Wax. It has been used by model airplane builders forever. Check it out here (URL) Kam (18 years ago, 23-Feb-07, to lugnet.parts, lugnet.space)

Re: Clearing up scratches on pieces

(...) I'll have to give that stuff a try. Thanks for the advice. Are there any issues with using it on transparent parts? -G (remove the capital S's in the email) (URL) (18 years ago, 23-Feb-07, to lugnet.parts, lugnet.space)

Re: Clearing up scratches on pieces

(...) Be warned, though: Brasso will seriously damage softer plastic parts like baseplates. I totally ruined a 48x48 baseplate that way when I used it to brasso the printing off of large quantity of tiles. --Anthony (18 years ago, 23-Feb-07, to lugnet.parts, lugnet.space)

Re: Galaxy Explorer the Way it Should Have Been ;o)

(...) Hey, yeah, I have some of those elements. They're a critical part of 6890 (Cosmic Cruiser). Cool. I may take a stab at the Sky Math this weekend... Six-wide is fun, but my daughter definitely likes the little 4-wide vehicles, especially the (...) (18 years ago, 23-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: The Yellow Devil

Re: Clearing up scratches on pieces

(...) Do you do anything to prepare the piece? Also, do you do anything after like wash it? If so, with what? Thanks, Jude (18 years ago, 23-Feb-07, to lugnet.parts, lugnet.space)

Re: Galaxy Explorer the Way it Should Have Been ;o)

(...) This one maybe? (URL) HTH I've used the above part many times when making my original fire trucks and other Town vehicles. Now I wish I had gotten into 6 wide instead of being tied into 4 wide by TLC. Oh well. (18 years ago, 23-Feb-07, to lugnet.space, FTX)
